To make the forum work as smoothly as possible, there are a few basic rules to follow:
(1) Be polite and, if you disagree with something, address the comment rather than the person who made it.
(2) No irrelevant posts or explicit advertising (a link to a relevant web site is fine, but the purpose of the message shouldn't be to advertise services or products).
(3) You're welcome to discuss the roles of relevant organisations and institutions, but this isn't a political forum and discussions that appear politically motivated will be closed.
(4) There is an assumption that anything posted on here can be quoted in full, provided that the author is acknowledged. If you post copyright material, please make sure you have the author's permission (if not yourself) and it is marked as such.
I will delete posts that don't comply with these rules and ban anyone who repeatedly breaks them. An immediate ban will operate for anyone who is abusive or joins simply to advertise services.
